Tailor made boutique wedding venue in Queenstown

Queenstown and its surrounding area is the most perfect place to get married and Remarkables Lodge is an equally perfect wedding venue. The stunning scenery of alpine and glacial lakes and the Remarkables mountain range makes the ideal backdrop for your exceptionally special day. The charming ambience of the Lodge makes for a personal, boutique experience – a Queenstown wedding venue to make your dreams come true.
We do not offer wedding 'packages' – every wedding of whatever size is tailormade to match your ideal and budget

The Ceremony

The ceremony can take place in our lovely gardens under a flower covered arch or inside the lodge with panoramic views of the mountains, either way the setting is stunning and the space can be tailored to small intimate groups or larger weddings of up to 30
people.
Alternatively take a helicopter from the lodge grounds to the summit of Remarkables Mountains and be married at the top of the world. Or marry in front of your friends and family then be whisked away to the mountain top for a private moment and some stunning photographs while your guests sip champagne.

Cuisine

The lodge chefs are able to cater for your wedding as either a formal seated meal or buffet style or even a classic Kiwi style barbeque. We are happy to discuss any specific preferences that you have. Whatever your choice you will be delighted with fresh local ingredients crafted into appetising dishes.
Likewise seating can be traditional style, informal or casual buffet – or just the two of you having dinner in your suite. And after the formal dinner if you wish adjourn to the bar for dancing.

Wedding and Honeymoon Suites

The wedding suite is situated in the garden and has a separate sitting room and bedroom plus a spa bath. Alternatively stay in our Jardine Suite with its deep claw-footed bath and pretty balcony overlooking the courtyard and the wedding ceremony arch – a great spot for Romeo and Juliet photographs. Many couples enjoy a private candlelit dinner in their suite either on the eve of their wedding or the day after.
And because we want you to be relaxed to enjoy your day we offer you, as a wedding gift from the lodge, a massage for two on the eve of your wedding.

Guest accommodation

The lodge can accommodate up to 14 overnight guests in seven rooms, with additional guests attending the ceremony and wedding reception. For indoor, seated dining we can host up to 30 wedding guests but the lodge is equally suited to small intimate weddings.
Weddings of 10 or more overnight guests will have exclusive use of the lodge.
