How to find Remarkables Lodge

From Queenstown or Cromwell/Wanaka

At Frankton roundabout turn on to State Highway 6 signposted to Invercargill.
Pass the airport and cross the one-way bridge.
The road meanders 2.5 km to the Remarkables Ski Resort entrance.
The Lodge is 3.4 km past the Ski Resort Entrance, on the left hidden from view by trees.

From the south on State Highway 6

After the road moves away from the lake, the Lodge is on the right on the outside of a left hand bend.

By plane

Leaving the airport you reach a T intersection which is State Highway 6. Turn left, and follow the directions above.

Google Maps Street View

Google Earth

If you have Google Earth installed, download the link below by right clicking on it and choosing 'Save link as...' or 'Save target as...' depending upon your browser. Save the file in a folder on your computer. Double-click on the file and Google Earth will open and fly you to the Lodge's location. Make sure that 'Temporary Places' under 'Places' is clicked to see the Lodge's placemarker. Also, open the three 'Community' layers for information about the Queenstown area. Google Earth is a free program available from Google, which you can download here. It is a better experience if you are using a broadband internet connection
