How to get married in Queenstown
Celebrants
In New Zealand you must be married by a registered marriage celebrant. We work with celebrants who are sensitive to the needs of each couple and work with you to determine the type of service you would like to have.Marriage Licence
To get a licence, you will need to complete an application form, the celebrant can send this to you prior to your arrival in New Zealand.You do not need to apply in person, the celebrant can do that for you. The application form takes 3 working days to process. On arrival in Queenstown you will need to make a statutory declaration in person at the District Court you are then able to get married from the same day.
Hair and Make-up
There are fabulous places in Queenstown to get your hair and make-up done professionally on the day of your wedding as the town operates 7 days a week. Alternatively we can arrange for this to be done privately in your room at the Lodge.Photographers
