The Lodge is blessed with a stunning mountain range (aptly named Remarkables) planted squarely in the lodge's back garden, so it is a double blessing to have a world class championship golf course placed on the front lawn. For a Queenstown golf vacation the lodge is perfectly located.
JACKS POINT – the crème de la crème with fine golf, fabulous views and a delightful atmosphere, a perfect match for the lodge. The 7150 yard (6538 metre) course at Jacks is bounded by the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife.
Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.
