Remarkables Experience - 2 nights+heli flight
Remarkables Lodge nestles at the base of the aptly named Remarkables mountain range. Marvel at this wonder of nature from your balcony as you enjoy a glass of wine, or find a shady spot in the garden to take in the view.
In the evening the full moon rising over the peaks is a breathtaking sight that invariably disrupts dinner while you reach for your camera. Thankfully we have an understanding chef.
In the morning the rising sun sends shafts of light shooting down through the craggy peaks while you enjoy a delectable breakfast including fresh fruits from our garden.
Listen for the distant thrumming of your helicopter arriving in the grounds to take you to the summit of the mountains you have been admiring. Lift off and as Lake Wakatipu emerges your pilot will point out the High Country Stations, Queenstown and surrounding mountain peaks before landing one mile high on the Remarkables mountain range.
Take in the panoramic scenery, enjoy a glass of champagne and snap a special “On top of the World” photograph before landing back at the lodge.
